Your Tasks

  • Drive business development with assigned global key accounts and potential target clients
  • Coordinate all DERTOUR DMC sales activities with these accounts and beyond
  • Extend the global client base of 3rd party clients beyond DERTOUR Group
  • Develop source market specific sales strategies for online and offline clients, focusing especially on UK, Benelux, Eastern & Southern Europe as well as GCC markets
  • Plan and conduct roadshows, sales calls, workshops and join international trade fairs
  • Maintain an overview of all relevant aspects and relationships with the respective client base, constantly collecting and analyzing relevant information
  • Provide customer support in case of any technical or commercial issues in close interaction with local DMC companies
  • Monitor client performance through the regular analysis of sales reports with the aim to optimize sales and profitability

Your Profile

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Experience as a sales manager in an international tourism environment
  • Experience in the sales division of a bedbank or DMC, allowing for a solid understanding of global touristic processes, distribution and DMC systems, as well connectivity providers
  • Solid understanding of the business specifics to ensure internal and external professional recognition
  • Experience in developing source market specific sales strategies and managing key accounts
  • Extensive personal network within relevant leisure industry players
  • Strong intercultural and communication skills supported by proficient spoken and written English (German, Spanish and other languages beneficial)
  • Willingness to travel internationally
