Located in a picturesque bay next to the fishing village of Las Playitas on the beach, the resort offers its guests state-of-the-art facilities such as a heated Olympic pool, a bike centre equipped with the latest road bikes and mountain bikes, 5 tennis courts, 4 padel courts, 2 multicourts, a climbing wall with 5 levels of difficulty, a boxing ring, indoor hall, a 700m² gym, open air fitness park and an 18-hole golf course.We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist (m/f/d) to join our team at Playitas Resort, Fuerteventura. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, training, and administrative processes.

Your Tasks

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless integration for new hires
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and implement best hiring practices
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive work environment by supporting employee engagement initiatives and well-being programs
  • Handle employee grievances and workplace conflicts professionally, ensuring fairness and compliance
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR databases
  • Assist in managing payroll processes, benefits administration, and leave management
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and professional growth
  • Support the implementation of career development programs and performance management initiatives
  • Contribute to HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving overall efficiency and employee satisfaction

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism sector
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll coordination is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Spanish and English
  • High level of confidentiality, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Team player with a proactive approach and strong sense of responsibility
